Welcome to Humanists Doing Good!

We are a nonprofit and nonreligious community of compassionate and rational people doing good for the sake of good. We are people learning, socializing and volunteering together. We are always looking for more people to join our cause and invite you to learn more about our organization and our beliefs. You just may be surprised to learn that great minds such as Albert Einstein have shared our vision.

Humanists Doing Good focuses on improving our lives by improving the lives of others.

Join us for a discussion centering on various efforts by the nonreligious to bring about change and efforts to protect the separation of church and state on the local and broader scales. The following are some possible example questions that might be posed for discussion: What do you consider to be the most effective tactics for the nonreligious to use and what do you consider to be the some of the most damaging? Are there necessary boundaries in the fight for separation of church and state? What tactics would you consider too extreme? What tactics do you consider too gentle? Are the nonreligious too politically correct?

UniversiTea is an opportunity to discuss a typically philosophical question or questions over a cup of tea (or whatever you may wish to bring). We try to create a relaxed environment for friendly discussion of often challenging subjects. Please feel welcome to bring any food or drink you might like to have available.

When: Thursday, August 24th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
