Visit With Us

Would you like to personally meet with members of Humanists Doing Good? There are several ways to do this. Our regularly scheduled meetings are open to the public and are a primary way of learning more about our organization and meeting some of its members. You can feel free to simply show up without prior notice. We do ask that you let us know that you are a visitor when you arrive so that we can be sure to answer any questions you might have and so that we can present you with any relevant information.

Another way to meet with members of Humanists Doing Good is to participate in one of our events. If you learn about one of our events we invite you to attend and feel free to talk to some of our members. If the person you speak to cannot answer a particular question you may have, he or she will likely be able to direct you to a person who can.

Yet another way you can get to know more about our organization and its members is to contact us and volunteer for an upcoming good deed. We encourage anyone in the community to volunteer to do good deeds and this is a great way to introduce yourself to us and to speak to our members while they are in the process of doing a portion of what we're best known for doing. Volunteering allows you the chance to see the hands on approach we take and to see the smiles we can all bring to the lives of others, no strings attached. As a volunteer doing a good deed, there are also no strings attached for you. You can simply participate in doing a good deed and then go about the rest of your life knowing that you helped make somebody's life a little better.

We realize that sometimes it can be difficult to approach a new group of people and for that reason, we also encourage you to request an indivdual meeting with a representative of Humanists Doing Good if you prefer. This allows you to meet with a representative privately at a time of your choosing to have any questions you might have answered. It is helpful if you can provide us with some of the topics you would like us to address when we meet with you so that we can send a representative who can best address these topics. We also understand that sometimes people are facing life transitions or may be in situations which otherwise require some initial discretion. We are quite aware that sometimes having differing views and ways of thinking compared to some family members or the broader community can often be daunting. We do our best to work with you under such circumstances and our representatives are very compassionate and understanding of the challenges you may be facing.

You can use the Contact Us link on our website to let us know about you and your situation and to find out how to visit with us in the manner of your choosing.
