We are always looking for more people to join our cause and invite you to learn more about our organization and our beliefs. You just may be surprised to learn that great minds such as Albert Einstein have shared our vision.

May 27th, 2012 - Potluck & Sci-Fi Building Party
Humanists Doing Good will be having a Potluck and Sci-Fi Building Party to support our Relay for Life Team. EVERYONE is invited and asked to bring an dish to share. We could also use any materials or things you think you might be able to contribute toward building a 50s Science Fiction themed campsite. Be thinking of things like blocky robots, flying saucers, old sci-fi creatures, etc.
Some of the things we will be doing:
- Talk about how the Relay event actually runs
- Make AWESOME stuff for our campsite
- Make a list of who can contribute what to our campsite (cooler, snacks, tent, etc...)
- Eat killer potluck food
Come help us make cool sci-fi stuff! Bring your supplies!

May 17th, 2012 - UniversiTea: The History and Evolution of the Women’s Movement
Please join us for an evening of conversation about the history and evolution of the Women's Movement. Why are we now fighting the same battles that were fought and thought to be won forty years ago? Please come share your feelings, thoughts, and experiences - men and women, both! The meeting will be held at Cyndi and Jerry's house from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and sun tea and dessert will be served.

May 5th, 2012 - Special Olympics & Relay For Life Fundraiser
Relay For Life Fundraiser Information:
Humanists Doing Good will be pumping gas and washing windows for people in exchange for donations for our Relay For Life team. Help us raise awareness and battle cancer. We would welcome any additional team members to our Relay team as well. If you're thinking about joining our relay team, the overall theme for the Relay is the "Nifty 50s," but we have chosen to make a sci-fi themed campsite for the actual relay. Think 50's sci-fi here - cardboard robots, flying saucers, etc. This is going to be a lot of fun! To join our team or to make a donation toward our goal of $500, please click here. We are also happy to relay on behalf of any loved ones with cancer or cancer survivors.

Fans In The Stands at Special Olympics Information:
Humanists Doing Good will be supporting Special Olympians as they compete in several events. We anticipate making signs to support the athletes and cheering our lungs out. In the past the Special Olympics has had great support from volunteers helping the participants, but often their has been minimal support from the crowd. We want to do our part to change that. Please feel free to invite friends to come and join us as the competitors give their all.
